The School of Physics, Astronomy & Mathematics at UH has one of the largest astronomy research groups in the UK and is now inviting applications to study for PhD & MSc (Res) to begin October 2009.
PhD Studentships: 5 fully-funded STFC 3.5-year PhD Studentships open to UK/EU students resident in the UK. UH Studentships also available, open to non-resident EU and overseas students (partially funded). Minimum 2.1 Honours degree is required for PhD entry.
Applications should be received by 13th February 2009, to ensure full consideration.
MSc (Res): A 1-year full-time self-funded research degree. Minimum 2.2 Honours degree required. Applications welcome throughout the year.
