Cornell Club of London Scholarships for UK Students

The Cornell Club of London will again be sponsoring a UK student to attend the six-week summer school at Cornell University in 2009.

The scholarship will allow a UK student to study at Cornell in Ithaca, New York this summer by covering the costs of tuition, housing and a food allowance. Travel costs and other incidentals must be covered by the student selected.

Further information is available at: www.cornellsummerscholarship.org.uk and the application form can be downloaded at http://www.cornellsummerscholarship.org.uk/apply.htm

Course information and other details about summer at Cornell will be available at , www.summer.cornell.edu from early spring 2009.

The application form, Statement of Purpose and one letter of academic reference must be received by Friday 13 February 2009 at:

Cornell University UK Centre
51 Gower Street
London WC1E 6HJ
Tel: 020 7255 2715
Fax: 020 7255 2716
Please note that the Club has specified that applicants should be UK nationals, studying full-time at UK universities. The Scholarship is not designed for international students. The courses offered are most appropriate to first or second year undergraduate students – in any discipline. Students must be available to personally attend a selection interview in London in March so if they are already overseas on a work-placement or study abroad experience this would be problematic.
