Master's Program Students Sponsored by The ADB-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP)

The applicant must be a citizen of one of the developing member countries (excluding Hong Kong, China; the Republic of Korea; Singapore; and Taipei, China) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited/recognized university of the highest standard, at least two years of work experience in the public or private sector, not be more than 35 years old at the time of application and have a TOEFL score of 550 (or TOEFL Computer-based Test (CBT) score of 213, TOEFL Internet-Based Test (iBT) score of 79) or higher. The applicant must be in a good health. He/she must be willing to return to his/her home country to contribute to its development after completion of studies under the program or when dismissed from the school. Only those who meet these eligibility conditions are considered for selection.
Note1: Applicants living or working in a country other than his/her home country are not eligible for the Scholarship. Also, Executive Directors, Alternate Directors, officials and staff of ADB, as well as their close relatives, are not eligible for the scholarship.

Note2: The Program will, in principle, not support applicants who are pursuinga second master's degree.
