Canada: Research Scholarships 2010/2011 in Poultry Welfare

This research scholarship provides $18,000 per year for three years for an exceptional graduate student pursing a PhD at the University of Guelph in the area of poultry welfare.

Eligibility:

Applicants must hold or expect to hold (at the time of the start of award) a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in science, preferably in animal welfare and/or poultry science and must be admissible to the Graduate School of the University of Guelph and either Ontario Veterinary College or Ontario Agricultural College.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on academic achievement and quality of their graduate research proposal in field of poultry welfare. Multidisciplinary projects are highly recommended. Applicants will be eligible to receive other scholarships and bursaries in conjunction with this program.
