Panasonic Scholarship for Year 2012 is offered by Panasonic Corporation. Panasonic Scholarship2012 is now open to the graduate students from Natural Science & Mathematics, Engineering, Bio-Technology [Agricultural], and Information Technology.

For a privately graduate students from Indonesia who applied the Panasonic scholarship program in Indonesia and selected as nominated, Panasonic Scholarship shall provide award totally up to 8 Million Yen per-person for 3 years Master course at a University in Japan.

Panasonic Corporation Japan in commemoration of its 80th anniversary in 1998 launched the Panasonic Scholarship Program for Asian countries to support Asian young students in pursuing a master’s course in Japan. In the line with those activities, as the contribution of Panasonic Group of Companies in Indonesia to the community, the Panasonic Scholarship Program in Indonesia was launched since year 1999.

Panasonic Scholarship is the program to enhance the educational opportunities to students in Indonesia, especially for young students who demonstrate their academic excellence and leadership. The study in Japan will enrich their knowledge and expose them to a different culture, which they can share for improving the friendship and relationship between Japan and Indonesia.

Each year, the Panasonic Scholarship Indonesia selects 3 best students to be Panasonic Scholarship Nominees from across the country.

Now, starting from February 14 we open registration to all graduate students from all over Indonesia to apply for the Panasonic Scholarship Program for Year 2012.

[Cyprus] MBA Scholarships for Developing Countries at Cyprus Republic

The Republic of Cyprus is offering up to a total of sixteen (16) full scholarships of 12-months duration to study for the attainment of the Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Public Sector Management (MPSM)* title for the academic year 2010-2011. The Universities taking part in the scheme are: the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), the European University Cyprus (EUC), the University of Cyprus (UCY) and the University of Nicosia (UNIC). Each University will receive up to four (4) students who will attend the above study programme as official scholarship holders from the Republic of Cyprus. Eligible candidates are citizens of the list of scholarship recipient countries for the academic year 2010-2011, as per the distribution shown below:

Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM)

Eligible candidates to apply for the scholarships to study at the CIIM Master in Business Administration (MBA) or Master in Public Sector Management (MPSM) programmes are citizens of Azerbaijan, Gambia, Sudan and Uzbekistan.

Application procedure

In order to submit an application for scholarship, the applicant must fill-in the relevant application form for the respective University programme. Along with the University application each candidate must attain an official endorsement by her/his country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs using the Endorsement Form (detailed instructions on the endorsement procedure are included in the document). The applicant may then submit his/her application along with the endorsement form at a Competent Consular Authority of the Republic of Cyprus of their choice, not later than the deadline shown above for each University.

In order to expedite the process, it is strongly recommended that the applicant forwards a copy of the application form and a copy of the duly completed and stamped endorsement form to the Academic Institute organizing the program, as soon as he/she attains these documents. The originals should be submitted or sent to the Competent Consular Authority of the Republic of Cyprus, before the deadline (as instructed above). It is noted that ONLY applications accompanied by duly completed and stamped endorsement forms (by the applicant΄s Ministry of Foreign Affairs) will be considered for a scholarship award.

Special provisions for Pakistani and Armenian applicants:
1) It is noted that the application forms of Pakistani applicants will be short listed by the Higher Education Commission and subsequently endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan in Islamabad. This means that the first point of contact for Pakistani applicants is the Higher Education Commission.
2) Candidates from Armenia should obtain an endorsement of their application through the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia.

Important notes concerning the award of scholarships:

1. Candidates who have received a scholarship of either short or long duration by the Republic of Cyprus within the last two (2) years 2008 or 2009 are NOT eligible to apply for these scholarships.

2. Eligible candidates must be permanent residents of their country of citizenship.

3. All scholarships are offered officially by the Government of the Republic of Cyprus to other Governments on a bilateral basis as official technical assistance and not to individuals. Therefore, it is expected that with the end of the scholarship, the scholarship recipients will return to their country of citizenship so that the recipient country is benefited to the highest possible degree by the transfer of know-how and not just the individual receiving the scholarshsip.

4. For the scholarship to be awarded it is necessary for the candidate to accept the Terms and Conditions of the scholarship.

Scholarship KT&G for Asian Student 2010 in Yonsei University, Korea

The KT&G Foundation offers scholarships to the Turkish, Iranian, Russian, Kazakhstani, Indonesian students who looking for a master’s degree at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) of Yonsei University, Korea.

Eligibility and Conditions

1. Degree: A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree.
2. Age : No limit
3. Health: Applicants must be in both sound physical and mental health.
4. English Language Proficiency: Applicants must possess strong English language proficiency (Recommended score of TOEFL CBT 237 (IBT 93/PBT 580), IELTS 6.5 or above).
5. Arrival in Korea: Scholarship recipients must arrive in Korea by February 23, 2010 and must attend the new student orientation program on February 24, 2010 at Yonsei GSIS.
6. Application Period: All necessary documents must be submitted to the Yonsei GSIS office between September 1, 2009 ~ November 30, 2009. All original documents should arrive at the GSIS office by this date.

Terms of Fellowship

The scholarship covers a maximum of 24 months (2 years), from March 2010 to February 2012. Students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0/ 4.3 every semester to maintain fellowship eligibility.

Scholarship Details

1. Tuition fee: The KT&G Foundation will provide tuition fee for Spring 2010 through Fall 2011 (up to 4 semesters).
2. Stipend: The KT&G Foundation will provide a monthly stipend of KRW 1,000,000(= USD 892) for up to 24 months.

Obligation:

1. Participation in a field trip, a roundtable conference prepared by the Foundation
2. Participation in events and activities upon request from the school or the foundation
3. Submission of a report on your life in Korea two months prior to your graduation and a copy of your Master’s thesis
4. KT&G Fellowship recipients must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.3 scale in order to retain their scholarship. If they fail in this requirement at any time, their scholarship will be cancelled and they will be ineligible to receive it again in further semesters.
5. If a KT&G Fellowship recipient decides to withdraw from their program of study they must pay the KT&G Foundation the full amount of the scholarship received up to the time of withdrawal.
